Wanting to expand access to public policies and the well-being of the population, Guarapuave Health Secretariat advises users on the importance of the National Health Card.
The Unified Health System (SUS) card provides care at any Brazilian public health center and guarantees benefits in a variety of procedures, from basic to most complex, such as consultations in various medical specialties, vaccinations, blood tests, urine, feces, prenatal, transplants, treatment and surgery.
In addition, the card also supports municipal laws, such as no. 2947/2019, which established the Autism Identification Card (CIA), allowing priority treatment for patients with autism spectrum disorder (TEA), after presenting documents such as SUS cards.
In order to register, a user must attend a Basic Health Unit (UBS) near their residence, carry with them RG and CPF IDs, birth or marriage certificates and proof of residency.
The card will be printed and delivered on time, free of charge. It is important to note that cardholders are also required for health insurance users.
The document will contain personal information such as name, gender, date of birth and most importantly: SUS card identification number.
It will ensure that the carrier through the Citizen Citizen portal is able to access its consultations, scheduled examinations, vaccines and other information.
