Porsche has introduced new hybrid modifications of the Cayenne crossover and the Cayenne Coupe, called the Turbo S E-Hybrid. New modifications have become the most powerful version of the model in its history.
The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid and the Cayenne Sport Turbo S E-Hybrid are equipped with a hybrid powertrain that comes from the Panamera version above. The powertrain includes a four-liter 550-horsepower V8 engine with two turbines and a 136-hp electric motor. The units deliver 680 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.
The engine is powered by a block of lithium-ion batteries located between the internal combustion engine and the eight-speed automatic transmission. The batteries only allow electric driving up to 40 km, with maximum travel speeds up to 135 km / h.
The crossover can accelerate from a place of the first hundred km / h in 3.8 seconds and its top speed is electronically limited to about 295 km / h.
The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid and the Cayenne Sport Turbo S E-Hybrid are equipped with adaptive PASM air suspension, ceramic brakes and 18-wheel power seats with adaptive power.
