The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 amazed us! The current top of Antut's scale – the OnePlus 7 Pro – has 372k points, but the brand new Note showed 440k! This is more than a normal intergenerational shift. So we started the search …
The truth is that the high score comes from the beta of the benchmark, which has yet to be released to the public. Antutu boasts even more on Facebook:
The problem is that Antut 8.0 has changed and its evaluation methodology and phones have significantly higher results. We randomly tested several smartphones in the newsroom, and the eighth version differed by about 10-20% in favor of the newer version compared to the current version of Google Play (V7.2.2). In the case of the new Asus ROG Phone 2, that is over 100,000 points.
We also tried the mentioned Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ models, where the result varied by almost 100,000 points in the versions. The results more or less coincided with Facebook Antut, but were slightly lower due to the use of Samsung's Exynos 9825 processor instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

The new version of Antut repeatedly confuses the assessment of the phone. This is not the first time the company has changed its rating methodology. For us, this also means the usability of measurement results in old and new phone reviews.
