Dr. Khalid Hanafi, Secretary General of the Arab Chamber of Arab Associations, approved the draft of a unique visa for Arab investors and businessmen among Arab countries to promote investment in Arab countries instead of going abroad.
Hanafi urged the importance of promoting trade and investment among Arab countries and the need to remove obstacles that prevent the freedom of movement of Arab businessmen and investors.
This occurred during the opening of the meetings of the Senior Coordination Committee for Arab Joint Actions organized by the Union of Arab Chambers in Beirut in the presence of Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Ambassador Kamal Hasan Ali, Assistant Secretary for Economic Affairs of the League of Arab States, Ambassador Hosama Zaki , Assistant Secretary General of the League of Arab States Mohamed Khair Abdel Kader, Director of Arab Organizations and Trade Unions, Dr. Ismael Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Arab Academy of Maritime Transport, Technology, Arab Institutions and Organizations, and the Arab Associated Labor Organization and United Nations Industrial Development "UNIDO".
Dr. Khalid Hanafi emphasized that the Arab Federation of the Chamber, as the true representative of the Arab private sector, will seek to help strengthen coordination and communication between the official and competent authorities and the Union of Arab chambers and related bodies of the Union system in order to remove the barriers that lead to the migration of investments outside the Arab world. Achieving Arab economic integration.
On the margins of the meeting, three agreements were signed: the first cooperation agreement between the Arab Academy of Maritime Transport, represented by the Arab Institute for Trade and Commodity Exchange, the International Transport and Logistics College and the Union of Arab Chambers in the field of training, education and consulting, logistics and services for entrepreneurs and small investors. The Arab and UNIDO Chamber of Bahrain are organizing the third international forum of entrepreneurs to be held in Bahrain in coordination with the Arab Conference of Employers and Investors and the third agreement on cooperation between the Academy and the Union of Arab Chambers and the UNIDO Bahrain are organizing the Arab Rally for Entrepreneurs.
