Facebook wants to merge its top WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger apps in the future. Before reaching the planned community platform, Whatsapp is still trying to "steal" a popular Instagram feature. In particular, this is a boomerang feature for video.

On Instagram, thanks to Boomerang, short videos (up to 7 seconds) in a continuous loop can be played. This "back and forth" effect sometimes creates really cool clips and is therefore very popular with Instagram users. Here's an example:
Directly in the application
Like WABetaInfo reported, the Boomerang feature will also be available in WhatsApp in the future. And the messenger should give it a central edge. Because even though you have to install an additional "Boomerang for Instagram" application in the photo platform, it's obviously integrated directly into WhatsApp. So you can use it completely without touring.
At the beginning of WhatsApp for iOS
According to WABetaInfo, Boomerang should start on WhatsApp in the iOS version. A little later, however, it will probably be available to Android users as well. The exact start time does not yet exist.
