Police found a ticket in the dead bag – but no ID: After the man died in the Alps, police tried to clarify the dead man's identity.
One mountaineer collapsed and died about 150 meters away on a green rock in the Berchtesgaden Alps in Bavaria. Around 70-year-old man arrived late Friday for help, according to the Bavarian Red Cross and police. The accident happened accordingly on the southern slope of a mountain about 1300 meters high. The man did not have an ID with him.
According to the train ticket found near him, he arrived from Freilassing to Berchtesgaden on Thursday afternoon. Police are looking for clues.
