Ever since we got new hands last year at the latest Jeep Wrangler, we immediately began to ask when the version would be pulled out? The Jeep has taken Jeep Gladiator twice since 2005, and since then it has been in mind. Well, she's here in all her shine. This is the 2019 Jeep Gladiator.
While the Gladiator looks a lot with the standard JL Wrangler, it is a brand new and unique frame beneath it, plus a larger set of axles, brakes and wheels with which it goes. In the front, the Gladiator gets the power from the current Pentastar V6 – it's good for 285 hp and 260 lb-ft, and can be up to 7,650 pounds and carry a load of 1,600 pounds. But if you keep up to 2020, you will have another choice of engines: 3.0L EcoDiesel that delivers 260 hp and 442 lb-ft.
Also unique to Gladiator is the new Overland trim – sitting above standard Sport and Sport S and under Rubicon taste – although at first glance it looks like the new trim offers only slightly larger wheels and a unique option when it comes to a comprehensive off-road tire. This second assumes that it is worthwhile among the options, taking into account the Sport S and completely unmanned Rubicon. Rubicon receives aluminum shock shocks, full-length slider slides, optional steel bumpers and optional Falken M / T tires of 33 inches. The gladiator is also the only convertible pickup on the market and looks extremely bad with all the top down, all doors and windshields are covered over the hood.
Now that the Gladiator is officially known – and a truck truck of medium size grows by one – we feel justified in thinking that Jeep has always been tied to the fight for an off-road pickup. Toyota Tacoma TRD is used to control the forest, but now it has Chevy Colorado AEV Bison and Gladiator as a competition. The SUV, however, has an angle of 43.6 degrees, an angle of departure of 26 degrees and 11.1 inches from the slip, puts it at the top of the segment.
The Jeep did not mention any price, but with an additional sheet and steel it should be assumed that the entry level of the sport will be in the middle and higher range of $ 30,000. The Chevy ZR2 Bison starts at $ 48,045, and Rubicon is likely to land, but we'll know for sure next year.
