
ZURICH: A member of the FIFA Ethical Committee, Sundra Rajoo, resigned yesterday, a week after he was suspended from his post after an anti-corruption unit was investigated in his home state of Malaysia, according to a global football team.
FIFA said in a statement that it "took into consideration the resignation with immediate effect of Sundre Rajoo as deputy chairman of the panel."
He did not provide further details of the investigation or charges against Sundra, which could not be reached immediately for comments.
