Heroes have won the Grand Prix of the "Hot Documentaries" in Toronto, Tokyo, and is currently on the short list in the Academy nomination. The Moroccan documentary has won its prize for the first time.
Our heroes have been shot for 4 years. The crew of the artists has been four years since Safi gathered for the young people with disabilities dreaming of the world beyond the limitations of their city, gathering key moments in the simple and unique daily life of the city. 4 years of personal sacrifice, joy and eyes for the movie crew, and their subjects are proud of sharing with the public.
Combining poetry and politics, we can become a Hero, stop fighting for Morocco for a decent living for the Paralympic Champion Azeddin Noah's marathon. This is not a film about disability but Morocco should offer to young people who want to stay with them.
We can become a hero – a delicate journey into the environment that unites us all.
