The German airline Lufthansa is expecting 4 percent more passengers this year than last year.
According to President Lufthansa Carsten Spohra, there is no issue of climate action, for example, Swedish activist Grete Thunberg, who limits aviation.
"We do not see any restraint, even the opposite," Spohr said in an interview for Neue Zürcher Zeitung. "The debate on climate change does not lead to restraint. People want to fly."
According to Spohr, the reputation of aviation is destroyed by fighters who offer tickets at the lowest prices.
"They make our sector a target of criticism and hide the air space, because it stimulates artificial demand that would not exist if there were real prices."
