Deputy Foreign Ministry Chief of Staff Bartosz Cichocki told the Information Agency for Radio and PAP that the situation at the borders was very worrying, and decisions aimed at organizing customs and tax issues brought them into practice on the paralysis of road and pedestrian border crossings. The deputy minister added: "this is an unacceptable situation, and Poland expects the return of full capacity at the border crossings."
The Deputy Foreign Minister said that in some cases the situation stabilized. That is why Bartosz Cichocki encourages us to check messages of services before we decide to travel to Ukraine. Information on the current situation is published on the Border Police's website.
At the same time, the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that it is worthwhile to delay these trips to Ukraine, which is not necessary. In a statement, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration announced that it is possible to move the border at the following crossings: Korczowa – Krakowiec, Budomierz – Hruszew, Medyka – Szeginie in Podkarpackie Voivodeship and Dorohusk, Zosin, Dołhobyczów and Hrebenne in the Lublin region.
